about the artist
I was born on Grand Cayman in the Cayman Islands in 1982. From the tender age of 3 my ability for all things creative and artistic began to shine. It was then that I began to draw and paint but it was only when I was given my first camera (a simple one use Kodak) in the early 90’s did I find my true calling.
Over the years I have enjoyed capturing nature and wildlife whilst developing my talents in macro photography. I like the thrill of finding something hidden or mystical about a shot. To me it’s more of a world where you’re allowed to not just see what I’m shooting but to savour a moment that only exists in that very place at that very time… This is what drives me as a Photographer.
Everything in my work shows a little bit of that spark from all those many years ago, when I turned that little plastic dial to ready the next shot. Thank you for taking a moment to enjoy a sample of my work.
